Schlick Design Group-Site PlanINITIAL CONSULTATION

Our initial visit is an opportunity for you to explore the landscape potential that your property holds. We ask you about your goals and your lifestyle – what activities you and your children enjoy and what kind of entertaining you like to do – in order to guide you. By the end of the visit you will have a much clearer idea of what you can accomplish, how much it might cost, and how long it might take. More importantly, you will have gained an enthusiastic, expert partner to help you realize those goals.

Creating a design is a joint venture between you and your designer. Your input plays a vital role in helping us create a design in keeping with your taste and lifestyle. After discussing what you wish to accomplish, we come to your home to take measurements and digital pictures of your property. Then, over the next few weeks, your designer produces an initial concept design. From this concept and your input, we make the desired changes in order to present you with a final plan and a budget.

Rogers-plan-4x72.jpgPRE-CONSTRUCTION SITE PLANNING

When you are ready to build a new home, call us before you begin. Prior to construction, we will examine the architectural drawings of your home, then design an overall site plan which best situates your home on the property while maximizing the orientation of the design features you want – from ample parking for you and your guests to gardens, patios, water features and ponds, a pool and cabana, or even a tennis court and putting green.

CONSTRUCTION AND SITE MANAGEMENT

Often the scope of a project is so large and complex, and involves so many different trades, that its success hinges on having a professional site manager act as the lead coordinator for the project. Our team of designers, project managers and craftsmen can provide that service, overseeing the project from concept to creation. Our team takes care of all details, large and small, so that the process is as stress-free for you as possible. We aid you in obtaining the proper permits, co-ordinate the bidding process, develop a project timeline and generally act on your behalf as your ‘eyes and ears’ in the field. We ensure that the work is of the highest quality and meets or exceeds all local and area building codes. Any services that are not covered under our Home Improvement License are performed by a licensed and insured sub-contractor.
